Hogy – Tuna Chug Popper

The Hogy Tuna Chug Popper is designed for offshore anglers targeting surface-feeding species with a straightforward, effective topwater presentation. Built with a slightly larger profile than standard poppers, this lure is tailored for situations where casting distance, visibility, and surface commotion are key. Its balanced design makes it easy to work while maintaining a consistent and controlled action.

Featuring an aft-weighted construction, the Tuna Chug Popper delivers long, smooth casts to reach distant feeds. The large cupped face creates a strong chugging action, producing noticeable surface disturbance that helps draw attention in open water. This combination allows anglers to vary retrieve speed and cadence to match changing conditions and fish behavior.

Constructed with durable materials and heavy-duty hardware, the Tuna Chug Popper is built for repeated use in offshore environments. Its high-visibility finishes and added sound elements enhance its presence on the surface, making it a reliable option when targeting species like tuna and other pelagic fish.
