Shimano Reel Stella SW D 10000 PG

Shimano Stella SW D 10000 PG: The Heavy-Duty Powerhouse

The Stella SW represents the absolute pinnacle of saltwater spinning reel technology. The 10000 PG model is the specialized torque variant of the 10000-sized body, featuring a lower gear ratio that prioritizes winching power. Built to endure the most punishing vertical jigging scenarios, this reel utilizes InfinityDrive to eliminate rotational resistance, allowing you to stay in control of the fight even under maximum drag pressure. It is a masterpiece of precision engineering, designed for anglers who demand a reel that will never back down, regardless of how deep the water or how large the target.

Maximum Cranking Torque

The PG designation marks this as a specialist tool for high-resistance fishing:

• Power Gear (4.9:1 Ratio): This lower gearing acts like a 44 low-range system for your fishing. It provides the necessary torque to work heavy jigs in deep water and the brute force required to lift massive fish off the bottom.

• InfinityDrive: By removing contact between the inner part of the pinion gear and the main shaft, Shimano has reduced rotational torque by approximately 30%. This allows you to keep the handle turning effortlessly, even when the rod is fully loaded.

• InfinityXross & HAGANE Gear: The cold-forged gearing is reinforced to distribute pressure across a wider surface area. This ensures that the reel maintains its incredible smoothness and structural integrity during the most violent saltwater encounters.

Advanced Drag and Thermal Control

Fighting ocean monsters creates immense friction; the Stella SW is built to stay cool:

• Heat Sink Drag: This revolutionary technology dissipates heat away from the drag washers and into a specialized heat sink. This reduces drag-force drop due to heat by about 50%, ensuring your 25kg of stopping power remains consistent from the strike to the net.

• XX-Tough Drag: Featuring a specialized washer arrangement, this system is designed for extreme durability and provides the smooth, stutter-free performance that the Stella name is world-renowned for.

• X-Protect & X-Shield: With an IPX8 water-resistance rating, the reel is shielded against the most aggressive salt spray and occasional submersion, keeping the 13+1 S A-RB bearings and brass gears in pristine condition.
