Pheasant Tail Nymph Fly

Pheasant Tail Nymph Fly Classic, versatile nymph pattern for trout fishing.

The Pheasant Tail Nymph Fly is one of the most effective and time-tested trout flies ever tied. Designed to imitate a wide variety of mayfly nymphs, it works in rivers, streams, and lakes year-round. Its natural pheasant tail fibers create lifelike segmentation, while the slender profile makes it deadly in clear or pressured waters. Fished under an indicator, in a Euro nymphing setup, or as part of a dry-dropper rig, the Pheasant Tail consistently produces results. A must-have in any fly box, this nymph is trusted by anglers around the world for fooling selective trout. A minimum quantity of 2 flies of the same size has been set for this item due to the staff time and labour it takes to fulfill fly orders. In our experience it’s always nice to have a spare if you happen to lose one on a rock or tree branch too!
