Tarponator – Size 2/0

We really like the tarponator for wary or pressured fish for its slender profile, light weight, and action in the water. Without being too big or overly dressed, it has all the right wiggle and characteristics to lure tarpon where larger flies can’t get it done.

From Umpqua:

“The Tarponator may be one of the most productive tarpon flies you will ever cast.

Developed on the West Coast of Florida, on some of the most pressured migratory fish, it has proven itself to be your go to pattern.

The slimy, wiggly action will immediately get your attention.

It is easy to cast, doesnt foul and has low bulk to ensure great hook-ups. This proven silhouette and action justifies having it in multiple colors.”
