Shimano ’24 Metanium DC

The Shimano ’24 Metanium DC is a high-end reel with an iDC-5 braking system. With its various gear ratios and the resulting line retrievals, the reel is ideally suited for medium-light and medium-heavy fishing for our predators. The 2024 model features a 34mm MGL-III spool. Line selection (nylon, fluorocarbon, or polyethylene) is made externally on the non-handle sideplate. The brake lever is also located there, resulting in a 3×5 iDC5 braking system. The 34mm MGL-III spool allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts. This is the 1970s model, with the crank on the right side.
