The BKK Raptor-X is a treble hook made from 3X wire, its design inspired by one of the best treble hooks BKK has ever produced: the Raptor-Z. The proportions between the hook gap and shank have been maintained to give the Raptor-X excellent holding power, but the hook point has been slightly straightened to improve the hook-up rate. This is further enhanced by the slimmer wire profile and hand-ground finishing technology. The lightness of the hook structure is also increased by hand-ground finishing, where the hook is manually sharpened by removing material around the point. The Bright Tin coating of the Raptor-X is designed to maximize its performance in terms of corrosion resistance in saltwater, making it suitable for harsh saltwater environments.
