Shimano ’21 Ocea Jigger

Shimano ’21 Ocea Jigger

The “Shimano ’21 Ocea Jigger” is a high-end multiplier reel for jigging techniques in saltwater. The Ocea Jigger, with its modern design, is manufactured in Japan to the highest standards and incorporates the latest technologies. It’s equally at home in the deep North Sea off Norway when fishing for halibut as it is in the depths of the Mediterranean when jigging for amberjack and dentex. When it comes to equipping yourself for slow jigging, perfect reels and matching rods are essential for success. Over the years, Shimano has always been the first choice for experienced anglers, so it’s no surprise that the Ocea Jigger is extremely popular. Combined with a high-quality jigging rod, such as the Shimano Game Type or Grappler rods, it creates perfect balance, opening up entirely new possibilities for highly effective fishing techniques. The Ocea Jigger series has always been equipped with high-end technology, and the latest models are no exception. The Micromodule Gear is Shimano’s most advanced transmission system, and in combination with Infinity Drive technology, it ensures unbeatable smoothness and a more refined cranking performance, even under extreme loads. The compact Hagane body features a special coating for added corrosion resistance. Inside are eight shielded A-RB ball bearings, which are further protected from water by X-Protect. The crank length is adjustable, and the ergonomic crank knob is perfectly shaped. The uncompromising Ocea Jigger is the perfect blend of technology, design, and ergonomics.
