Solar SP C-Tech 13ft Rod Sleeve

Solar SP C-Tech 13ft Rod Sleeve

Tailored Protection for the Distance Specialist.

At Gerrys Fishing, we recommend the SP C-Tech Sleeve for anglers using premium 13ft rods and big-pit reels. Every detail is considered: from the sculpted reel area that swallows the largest reels, to the back-mounted zipper that prevents your main line from ever getting caught in the teeth of the zip.

The sleeve is swathed in SolarCam, Solars bespoke digital camouflage, and is fully compatible with the Solar Modular Concept.7 This means you can clip multiple sleeves together or attach them to the SP C-Tech Holdalls using the heavy-duty, fail-safe clips.

Key Performance Features

• G-Tex Recycled Fabric: Solars exclusive G-Tex material is hewn from recycled bottles and packaging. It is certified to the Global Recycled Standard, making it the most eco-conscious choice for rod protection without sacrificing strength.

• Line-Safe Spine Zip: By placing the zipper along the spine (the back) of the rod rather than the underside, Solar has eliminated the risk of your fishing line getting caught in the zipa common cause of line damage in cheaper sleeves.

• Anti-Snag Internal Lining: The interior is finished with a smooth, anti-snag material. This ensures that even if you leave a hook on your rig, it wont get stuck in the lining, allowing for a tip-first insertion that is quick and hassle-free.

• Sculpted Reel Area: Large big-pit reels often put stress on zips and fabric. This sleeve features a generous, sculpted expansion joint that ensures the reel sits comfortably without being compressed.

• Solar Modular Concept: Equipped with sturdy, fail-safe clips and self-ventilating AirStrap mounting hooks. This allows you to daisy-chain multiple sleeves together to carry a full 3 or 5-rod setup on a single shoulder strap.
