Avid Carp Revolve NG Bivvy – 1 Person

Here is an in-depth description with specifications for this bivvy:

Key Features and Description

• Design and Purpose: The bivvy uses a classic two-rib, flat-back, pram-hood design. This tried-and-tested structure provides excellent stability and maximizes internal space, making the bivvy feel much larger than its footprint suggests. The flat-back design allows you to push your bedchair further into the back of the bivvy, increasing the usable floor space for luggage and other gear.
• Material and Waterproofing: It is constructed from a durable 100% polyester khaki fabric with a high-performance 10,000mm hydrostatic head. This high rating ensures it is completely waterproof and will keep you dry in heavy rain. The fabric also has a blackout feature, which helps to reduce light penetration, providing a darker interior for better sleep and keeping it cooler in sunny conditions.
• Ventilation: A significant improvement in the NG model is the inclusion of a large rear mesh vent. This feature is crucial for maintaining excellent airflow throughout the bivvy, helping to reduce condensation and keep the interior cool and fresh, especially during warm weather. The front door also includes an integrated mesh panel for additional ventilation.
• Door System: The bivvy is equipped with a versatile two-way letter box style door. This allows you to open just the top section of the door, which is convenient for maintaining visibility and letting air in while protecting the inside from rain. The door also includes options for a clear PVC window and a solid fabric panel, allowing you to adapt to changing weather conditions and your own privacy needs. The entire front panel can be rolled back to create an open-fronted shelter.
• Frame and Stability: The bivvy comes with a full frame support system and storm poles, which provides extra rigidity and ensures the shelter stands up to strong winds. The captive frame support is a clever feature that speeds up both the setup and pack-down times, as the tension bars are pre-attached to the bivvy ribs.
• Internal Space: Despite being a 1-person bivvy, its clever design provides ample room for a standard-sized bedchair and a significant amount of tackle, including luggage, bait, and a stove. The unique square shape makes it highly efficient in fitting into tight swims.
• Included Components: The bivvy is supplied as a complete package, including a lightweight groundsheet and a set of heavy-duty pegs. Everything packs neatly into an oversized, zipped carry bag, making transport and storage easy.
• Rod Straps: Two rod straps are located at the front of the shelter, offering a simple and convenient way to secure your rods while you are rigging up or baiting.
