BH San Juan Worm – Red

BH San Juan Worm Red Classic worm imitation with added weight for trout and steelhead.

The Bead Head San Juan Worm in Red is one of the most effective and straightforward patterns in fly fishing. Its simple design imitates aquatic worms and annelids, a reliable year-round food source for trout and steelhead. The bead head adds weight, helping the fly sink quickly and stay in the strike zone, making it especially effective after rain events or in high water. Fished under an indicator, in a Euro nymph rig, or drifted through runs and pools, the BH San Juan Worm consistently produces strikes. A minimum quantity of 2 flies of the same size has been set for this item due to the staff time and labour it takes to fulfill fly orders. In our experience it’s always nice to have a spare if you happen to lose one on a rock or tree branch too!
