Daiwa Fuego LT Spin Reel

The new DAIWA FUEGO LT has ZAION V carbon-fibre body and stands alone in the marketplace at this price. The new Daiwa Fuego LT also provides some weight reduction (3%-5%) as a result of this material design change.

Lighter, stronger, tougher, and advanced in design and performance, the Fuego LT features Daiwas Digigear gears for enhanced gear smoothness, strength, and power. But new gears are just the tip of the iceberg with a Light-Tough carbon-based material body, MagSeal, an ultra-light Long Cast ABS aluminium spool, Perfect Line Stopper, Machined Aluminium Handle, and Air Rotor combining to produce a fantastically smooth and high-performing reel at an unbeatable price!

Available in six different sizes ranging from the 2000 through to the 6000D, the Daiwa Fuego LT has an answer for most inshore and plenty of offshore fishing applications.

Features:

• Mag Seal Body:Ultimate protection is delivered to the engine room of the reel with a magnetised oil seal located on the main shaft of the reels rotor, shutting the door to the elements and unwanted intruders. Dust, water, and salt intrusion into the inner workings of a reel are a thing of the past with MagSeal.
• Tough Digigear:A further evolution of its predecessor Digigear, Tough Digigear is Daiwa’s newer digitally designed, machine-cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength.
• LT Concept: LT (Light Tough) technology is based on four key elements: Lighter, Tougher, more drag, and more bearings. Featuring a new compact body design and Tough Digigear LT reels introduce a new level of lightness and toughness to spin reel design.
• ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag):Daiwas Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start-up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and, combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System, results in a smoother drag from the initial hook-up.
• Carbon Light Body:An incredibly strong carbon-based composite material, DS5 is lighter and tougher than ordinary graphite, and unlike metal doesnt corrode.
• ABS Long Cast Spool:Compared to conventional spools, the LC-ABS has been shown to increase the average flight distance by approx. 5% due to its reduced weight and modified shape.
• Air Rotor:Lighter, stronger, and more balanced than any rotor system thats come before, Air Rotor delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate line roller support. Made from Zaion and featuring a redesigned arch that disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing, the design is further enhanced with a hollowed-out construction reducing weight, while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance.
• Air Bail: Daiwas innovative bail design features a hollow tubular stainless steel bail that delivers maximum rigidity and strength with minimum weight. Featuring a smooth, protrusion-free design and construction line easily slides unencumbered along the Air Bail towards the line roller for trouble-free line control.
• Infinite Anti Reverse:Daiwa’s advanced system that limits rearward back play handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.
• Machined Aluminium Screw-In Handle:Simplicity and effortless at its finest a screw-in handle features on Daiwa’s mid to high-end reels. Handle removal is as simple as back winding the handle, or forward winding for handle installation.
