Duo Spearhead Ryuki 70F Floating Lure MCC4018

70mm | Floating

The Spearhead Ryuki 70F Floating Lure is a floating flat-sided Ryuki for anglers who want the flash and twitch response of the Ryuki shape with more safety around shallow structure.

It is best when fish are feeding high, sitting in skinny water, or holding around rocks where a sinking minnow would hang up too easily.

Use a steady retrieve to keep it swimming cleanly, then add small twitches or rod taps to make it kick and flash.

Because it floats, the pause is useful: the lure can rise out of danger and give following fish a change in speed instead of being dragged straight past them.

It is strongest in shallow runs, riffle edges, skinny drains, weed gaps, and rock pockets.

If fish are holding deep or the current is pushing hard below the surface, a sinking Ryuki will usually reach the zone better.

TARGET SPECIES: larger trout, sea trout, salmon parr feeders, bass, perch, chub, smallmouth, and predators holding in bigger runs, pools, and estuary edges.
