Fox Voyager 2 Person Bivvy + Inner Dome

The Fox Voyager 2 Person Bivvy + Inner Dome is a comprehensive and high-performance shelter system designed for the serious angler who requires maximum space, comfort, and protection from the elements. This system combines the robust Fox Voyager 2 Person Bivvy with a dedicated inner dome, creating a superior twin-skin shelter ideal for longer sessions or for two anglers.

Fox Voyager 2 Person Bivvy

The bivvy itself is a standalone, top-of-the-line shelter.

• Design and Frame: It features a classic 2-rib pram-hood design with a large internal space. The frame is constructed from a rigid 19mm aluminum, reinforced with full frame support to ensure stability and a quick, secure setup. The high frame provides excellent headroom.
• Dimensions: With dimensions of 260cm (D) x 325cm (W) x 170cm (H), this bivvy is incredibly spacious, easily accommodating two bed chairs and all the necessary tackle.
• Fabric and Weatherproofing: The bivvy is made from a durable, breathable khaki polyester fabric with an impressive 10,000mm hydrostatic head, offering exceptional protection from heavy, prolonged rainfall. An oversized peak is integrated to provide additional coverage for the door.
• Ventilation: For comfort in all conditions, the bivvy includes large front and rear mozzy mesh panels for superior airflow. The front door is a two-way letterbox style with three options: solid, clear PVC, and mozzy mesh.
• Additional Features: It comes with two rod straps at the front, a heavy-duty groundsheet, and a dedicated, oversized carry bag for easy transport.

Fox Voyager 2 Person Inner Dome

The inner dome is the key component that transforms the bivvy into a twin-skin system.

• Twin-Skin Functionality: The inner dome creates a sealed inner capsule, leaving an insulating layer of air between the bivvys outer skin and the dome. This significantly helps to regulate the internal temperature, keeping it warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat.
• Condensation Control: By creating this dual-layer system, the inner dome effectively eliminates condensation. Moisture that forms on the inside of the main bivvy is contained within the two layers, preventing it from dripping onto your gear, bedchair, or sleeping bag.
• Bug and Rodent Protection: The inner dome is a fully sealed unit with a zip-in/out groundsheet and a full mesh body. This creates an impenetrable barrier against all types of insects and small animals, ensuring a comfortable and undisturbed nights sleep.
• Easy Installation: The inner dome attaches to the bivvys frame with O-Ring connections, making it quick and simple to install or remove.
• Convenient Pack-Down: One of the most practical features is that the inner dome can be packed away while still attached to the bivvy (by unzipping the groundsheet), saving you valuable time on the bank.
• Weight: The inner dome adds a manageable weight of 2.6kg (or 3.7kg depending on the listing) to the total setup.
