Free Spirit Hi-Sive Hutch Spec Black Edition Carp Rod (TB Special) 13ft 3.5-5oz (50mm)

TB Special build for this rod has the same specifications as the Free Spirit Black Edition rod except we have retained the metallic Hi-S blue tippings in front of the reel seat and butt grip instead of all black.
The Hutch Spec version is built to casting guru Mark Hutchinsons specification, and incorporates the butt ring and other intermediates whipped slightly higher up on the blank, a slightly longer than normal handle for increased casting leverage and a Hutch Spec logo below the normal Free Spirit cosmetics.
In the right hands and with practise this rod is capable of immense casting distances, although anglers that are not as adept at distance casting, might find that the standard built version is more suitable for their needs.

The Hi-S 200 and the Hi-Sive are the casting tools of the range and will require a good casting technique. The Hi-S 200 was developed with help from Mark Hutchinson and their introduction was well received, but it became apparent that there was a requirement for a rod to bridge the large gap created between the Hi-S 200 and the 3.5lb versions, therefore the Hi-Sive was developed to fill this gap. Both the Hi-S 200 and the Hi-Sive rods are a good choice if distance casting is the main consideration.
