Galloup’s Snowshoe Hopper

Galloup’s Snowshoe Hopper A buoyant, lifelike grasshopper imitation.

Galloup’s Snowshoe Hopper in Cream #12 is a durable terrestrial dry fly designed to fool trout during late-summer hopper season. Its cream-toned body and snowshoe rabbit wing create a natural profile, while the buoyant design ensures it floats high even in rough water. Rubber legs add lifelike movement, making it irresistible when drifted along grassy banks, undercut edges, or windy afternoons when naturals hit the water. Perfect as a standalone dry or in a dry-dropper rig, this hopper pattern draws explosive strikes and is a must-have for warm-weather fishing.
