Garbolino Medium Match Wide Gape 2320BZ

Garbolino Medium Match Wide Gape 2320BZ

The Versatile Powerhouse for Modern Match Tactics

The Garbolino 2320BZ Medium Match Wide Gape is the go-to hook for the angler who needs a single pattern that can handle almost anything. Designed for the high demands of competition fishing, this bronze-finished hook strikes the perfect balance between strength and finesse. The wide gape design ensures that even when using bulkier baits, the hook point remains exposed, significantly increasing your hit-to-hook ratio.

Built with a medium wire gauge, it is robust enough to handle hard-fighting bonus fish like big skimmers and small carp, yet light enough to ensure a natural bait presentation that doesnt spook wary fish in clear water.

Why the 2320BZ is a Tackle Box Essential

• Optimized Wide Gape: The generous curve allows the hook to turn and find a firm hold instantly, making it perfect for both hair-rigging and direct hooking.

• Forged Medium Wire: Offers the perfect middle groundstrong enough to stay in shape under pressure, but fine enough to prevent damage to delicate baits like maggots or expander pellets.

• Micro Barb Design: Provides maximum security once a fish is hooked while remaining easy to remove, ensuring fish welfare and speed during a busy match.

• Precision Sharp Point: Each hook features a chemically sharpened, durable point that stays sticky-sharp even after catching multiple fish or dragging across gravel bottoms.

Ideal Applications & Scenarios

• Feeder Fishing: The medium wire is ideal for the jolt of a feeder take, especially when targeting bream and hybrids on the tip.

• Pole Fishing for Silvers: Excellent for bagging big nets of roach and perch where you need a hook that wont open up if a bonus tench or carp shows up.

• Float & Waggler Tactics: The bronze finish provides a low-glare, natural look that blends in perfectly with dark lake and river beds.

• Versatile Bait Choice: This pattern is the perfect shape for maggots, casters, worms, or soft 4mm6mm pellets.

Gerrys Pro Tip

The 2320BZ is a fantastic all-rounder, but it really shines when fishing chopped worm. The wide gape allows you to thread a decent piece of worm onto the hook while still leaving plenty of the hook point clear to find a solid mouth-hold in big perch or bream. If the fishing is tough and youre missing bites on a finer wire hook, switching to this medium wire pattern often provides the extra stability needed to turn those indications into fish in the net
