It is best when wind, current, or fish position makes a floating minnow ride too high.

Use a steady retrieve to let the body and lipless/minnow action track naturally, then add small twitches or pauses as it passes a current seam, rock edge, drain, or bait school.

The lure is most convincing when it swims through a real feeding lane rather than being overworked in open empty water.
