Inova Bait Binder Elastic Refill

Inova Bait Binder Elastic Refill Professional Bait Presentation

Never let snap alert or decomposed elastic ruin a fishing trip again. The Inova Bait Binder Elastic Refill is designed to work seamlessly with the revolutionary Inova Bait Binder dispenser, ensuring you always have fresh, high-quality elastic ready to secure your bait. At Gerrys Fishing, we know that professional bait presentation is often the difference between a dropped bait and a landed fish.

These refills are engineered to eliminate the frustration of hunting for the end of your elastic with cold, wet, or bait-covered fingers. By using the dedicated Inova dispenser system, the elastic is always held in a ready-to-use position. With three distinct grades available, you can tailor your binding to the specific bait and conditions, whether you are flicking delicate baits into the surf or sending large cocktails down from a boat.

Tailored Grades for Maximum Efficiency

• Orange Spool (Fine): Specifically designed for delicate baits. Ideal for securing soft maddies, pristine lugworm, or small pieces of peeled prawn where you need to hold the bait in place without cutting into the soft flesh.

• Green Spool (Medium): The all-rounder for general bait setups. Perfect for standard beachcasting, securing squid and lugworm cocktails, or wrapping soft peeler crab for shore Bass and Cod.

• Blue Spool (Heavy): Engineered for boat fishing and large baits. This heavy-duty grade provides the tension required to secure massive whole squid baits or large mackerel fillets when targeting rays, tope, or conger.

• Long-Lasting Supply: Each refill spool provides a generous 100 metres of elastic, ensuring you are stocked up for multiple heavy-baiting sessions.

• Professional Finish: Using the correct grade of elastic ensures your bait stays streamlined for the cast while remaining attractive to the fish, allowing scent to leak out naturally.

Why Use the Inova Binder System?

Traditional elastic spools often roll around in the bottom of a tackle box, getting covered in sand and slime, which leads to the elastic becoming rancid and prone to snapping. The Inova system protects the elastic within the binder, and these refills ensure you can:

• Find the End Instantly: No more picking at a spool with your fingernails.

• Maintain Tension: The dispenser provides controlled friction so you can wrap your bait with the exact amount of pressure needed.

• Stay Mobile: Because the binder usually hangs from a lanyard around your neck, these refills mean your baiting station is always on your chest, even when wading.

Best Practices for Bait Binding

1. The Starting Wrap: For soft baits like peeler crab, start wrapping the elastic around the hook shank first to anchor it before moving onto the bait.

2. Streamlining: Always aim for a sausage shape. A streamlined bait casts further and is less likely to spin and tangle your snoods.

3. The Snap Off: When youve finished wrapping, give the elastic a sharp tug to snap it. The Inova elastic is designed to break cleanly, leaving a neat finish without needing scissors.

Gerrys Pro Tip: If you are fishing in very cold weather, keep your spare refills in an internal pocket. Keeping the latex elastic slightly warm prevents it from becoming brittle, ensuring it maintains its maximum stretch and strength when youre out on the beach
