Kyle’s Bead Head Curved Hook Yellow Sally Nymph

Kyles Bead Head Curved Hook Yellow Sally Nymph is a highly effective imitation of the Yellow Sally stonefly nymph, a key food source for trout during late spring and summer.

Designed with a curved hook profile and weighted bead head, this fly sinks quickly and rides naturally in the water column, matching the movement of real nymphs drifting along the streambed.

The bright yellow body provides just enough visibility to stand out in fast or slightly stained water while still looking natural to feeding fish. This pattern excels when trout are keyed in on emerging stoneflies and is equally effective as a dropper beneath a dry fly. Durable materials and balanced weight make it a reliable producer in freestone rivers, tailwaters, and spring creeks alike.

A must-have pattern when Yellow Sallies are present, Kyles Yellow Sally Nymph consistently draws strikes from selective trout.
