Increase the reeling speed and it acts as a subsurface shad, rolling and swimming about 10 to 20 cm below the surface.
Furthermore, slapping with a jerk creates the splashing and bubbling effects of a boil bait on the water’s surface. Stop-and-go action recreates the fluttering and rising behavior of a panic bait after a dive.
