Mitchell Epic MX1 8ft Light spinning rod & reel combo

Light lure fishing in rivers or stillwaters requires specialised tackle. Most spinning rods are too heavy for this king of work. The Mitchell Epic MX1 rods feature lightweight blanks perfect for this type of fishing. We’ve coupled this with the Smooth running Avocet reel, a spool of mono, a selection of lures and a lure bag with compartment box

The EPIC MX1 series of spinning rods are designed for light weight lure and trout fishing. The blanks have a moderate action, allowing to cast very light weight lures, bombetta’s and floats. Ideal rods to use for trout (pond) fishing or river fishing with a float. Finished with light weight components make these rods outstanding for their price class.
