Key Features

• One-Handed Operation: The quick flip-and-lock mechanism is designed for the high-pressure moment when a fish is finally near the bank. You can deploy the net with a single motion, ensuring youre ready to scoop your catch immediately.

• Fish-Safe Design: The rubberized mesh is a significant upgrade over traditional knotted nylon. It is gentler on the fishs scales and fins, prevents your hooks from snagging in the net material, and is much easier to keep clean and odour-free.

• Compact Portability: Whether you are hiking along a riverbank or navigating tight spaces on a pier, the folding design ensures the net never becomes a hindrance. The integrated belt clip allows you to carry it securely on your side, keeping your hands free for your rod and tackle.

• Robust Build: The black anodized aluminum construction is built to withstand the elements. It provides the perfect balance of lightweight maneuverability and the strength needed to hoist heavier specimens without the frame bending.

Pro Tip for Anglers

To keep your net operating smoothly, apply a tiny amount of silicone lubricant to the folding hinge mechanism once or twice a season, especially if you fish in sandy or saltwater environments. This prevents grit from building up and ensures the flip-and-lock mechanism stays fast and responsive. When not in use, store the net folded but fully dry to keep the rubberized mesh in prime condition and prevent any lingering moisture from affecting the hinges.

Where to Use

• Roving River Fishing: Perfect for the angler on the move, chasing perch, trout, or chub along overgrown banks.

• Urban/Pier Fishing: Its compact size makes it ideal for navigating crowded piers, high sea walls, or tight urban canals where a large, cumbersome net would be impractical.

• Predator Fishing: The rubberized mesh is ideal for handling lures with multiple trebles, as the hooks will not tangle in the material, allowing you to unhook your catch and release it safely in seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this net suitable for large fish?

The 50cm hoop and 50cm depth are well-sized for a wide variety of species, including pike, zander, large perch, and seatrout. While it is incredibly sturdy, it is primarily designed as a mobile net for the roving angler rather than for landing giant specimen carp from a static swim.

Can I change the handle length?

The handle is fixed at 75 cm to provide the best balance of leverage and portability. This length is ideal for most bank and pier fishing scenarios where you need enough reach to clear the edge but dont want a heavy, long-handled net getting in your way.

How durable is the belt clip?

The belt clip is designed for the active angler. It provides a secure, reliable attachment to your belt or the strap of your tackle bag. However, for extremely heavy-duty hiking, many anglers also use a small carabiner as a secondary safety tether to ensure the net stays with them even when scrambling over rocks.
