The “Ryugi Miura Dama” are used for rigs that utilize movable sinkers. In these rigs, the sinker can repeatedly come into contact with the knot between the line and hook, which can reduce the knot’s strength and lead to line breakage. The ‘Miura-Dama’ protects the knot and prevents the hook and sinker from becoming tangled, thus preventing the sinker from easily detaching from the hook. This extends the time the worm remains in the “no-sinker” state, maximizing the feeding interval.
