Sakura Utter Head 7g Hook #2/0 – Golden Orange 3pcs

Sakura Utter Head 7g (Hook #2/0) Golden Orange

The High-Contrast Attractor for Murky Water and Aggressive Strikes

The Sakura Utter Head in Golden Orange is the specialists choice for fishing in colored water or when targeting species that respond to warm, vibrant tones. The technical Sabot (shoe-shaped) design ensures that your lure always sits upright on the bottom, presenting a perfect silhouette to predators looking up from the seabed. This stability is crucialit means your hook is always pointing up, ready to set, and your lure never looks dead by falling over on its side.

The Golden Orange finish is a proven winner for Wrasse and Cod in saltwater, and Perch or Zander in freshwater. It mimics the bright underbelly of certain prey fish or the vibrant shells of crustaceans, providing a bold strike point that fish can track even in low-visibility conditions.

Where & How to Use Them

• Rough Ground & Kelp Fishing: The Golden Orange color is a magnet for Ballan Wrasse. Because the Sabot shape keeps the hook upright, you can hop this head through rocky gullies and kelp stalks with a much lower risk of snagging compared to a standard round head.

• Murky Estuaries and Flooded Rivers: When rain washes silt into the water, natural colors disappear. The Golden Orange head cuts through the gloom, providing a visual cue that helps predators locate your bait.

• Crustacean Mimicry: If you are fishing near piers or sea walls where crabs and prawns are the primary food source, this orange head provides a perfect match for the warm tones of shellfish. Pair it with a craw or creature type soft plastic for a deadly combination.

• Stinger Rigging for Short Strikes: If you find fish are nipping at the tail of your lure, the oversized eye allows you to quickly add a small treble stinger. The 7g weight provides a slow enough fall that the added weight of a stinger wont ruin the action.

Gerrys Pro Tip:

In my experience, orange is one of the most underrated colors for sea fishing. I love using this Golden Orange head with a dark green or motor oil colored soft plastic. The contrast is incredibleit looks just like a small rockling or a prawn. On the 7g head, the #2/0 hook is the perfect size for a 90mm lure, giving you a very balanced and natural movement
