Where to Use This Product

• Day Sessions & Weekend Carping: The ultimate camp companion for long waits between runs. It sets up in seconds on any swim, providing a stable, dedicated base.

• River Specialist Tactics: Perfect for big-fish river anglers who need a comfortable seat while watching rod tips for violent chub or barbel wraps.

• Under Brollies & Small Shelters: Thanks to its optimized low-profile design, it fits neatly underneath tight brolly systems without forcing your head against the top ribbing.

• Soft, Muddy Banks: The pivoting mud feet make it an exceptional choice for soft grass, tidal mudflats, or silted banks where standard chairs would sink.

Gerrys Pro Tip: When setting up on uneven or sloping banks, always adjust your front legs slightly higher than the back legs. This tilts your weight backward into the seat, providing far better lumbar support and stopping you from sliding forward throughout the day. To keep the leg extension mechanisms working smoothly season after season, avoid letting mud dry inside the sliders; give them a quick wipe down after a messy session and apply a light squirt of silicone spray to keep them gliding effortlessly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How adjustable are the legs on this chair?

Each leg is individually adjustable, allowing you to independently alter the height to level the chair perfectly on steep inclines, uneven rocky ground, or sloping river banks. The locking mechanisms engage firmly to prevent any slipping when you sit down.

Does this chair fold flat for transport?

Yes, absolutely. The Sert Carp Instinct Chair folds down into a neat, completely flat profile. This makes it incredibly easy to pack into the car boot, lay flat across a loading barrow, or store away in the garage between trips.

Is the fabric waterproof?

The heavy-duty fabric is highly water-resistant and designed to easily withstand damp mist, morning dew, and light rain showers. If it does get caught in a heavy bankside downpour, the material dries out exceptionally fast when exposed to open air.
