Shaner’s Dead-Bug Caddis

Shaners Dead-Bug Caddis A lifelike caddis imitation for picky trout.

Shaners Dead-Bug Caddis is designed to perfectly mimic a spent or struggling adult caddis lying flush in the surface film. Its realistic profile, muted tones, and delicate cdc wings create a convincing presentation that selective trout find irresistible during caddis hatches. Riding low on the water, this fly is especially effective in calm pools, spring creeks, and slower runs where trout have time to inspect their prey. Durable and subtle, the Dead-Bug Caddis is a proven pattern that belongs in every anglers box for tricky caddis hatches.
