The Shimano ’24 Scorpion MD (Monster Drive) is a robust bigbait reel. The casing consists of a Hagane body and the MGL-III spool is particularly deep for the use of thicker FC lines. It is perfectly suitable for lures up to and including the DEPS SlideSwimmer 175. The 35cm MGL-III spool with the 4-pin SVS braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts. We recommend the Seaguar R18 LTD , the test winner among FC lines from Japan, as a suitable line.
