Shimano Current Sniper Stickbait / Sinking

The Shimano Current Sniper Sinking Stickbait excels when fish are feeding near or just below the surface. Designed with durable 3X strong hooks and split rings, this sinking stickbait offers reliable performance and lifelike finishes. Its versatility allows for multiple retrieval techniques, effectively targeting various predator species. The subsurface walk-the-dog method mimics fleeing baitfish, especially when paired with spinning gear like Shimano Thunnus reels and Shimano Terez rods. Techniques such as rapid reeling to make the lure skip on the surface can trigger aggressive strikes. Ideal for yellowtail, tuna, calico bass, and striped bass, it performs best with 50-80lb Power Pro line and a suitable fluorocarbon or monofilament leader. Proper rigging, including using a split ring on the nose or a loop knot, ensures natural lure movement.
