Shimano Ocea Jigger LD Jigging Reels

Power Meets Deep Precision

The Shimano Ocea Jigger LD series sets a new benchmark for vertical jigging performance with reel designs built to handle deeper water and larger fish without sacrificing smoothness or control. Featuring a lever drag capable of up to 44 pounds, these reels give anglers fast, reliable drag adjustments and rocksteady pressure during long fights. Shimanos Infinity Drive technology reduces sideload drag resistance, resulting in up to 40% lighter rotation under heavy load letting you work jigs deeper and fight fish longer with less fatigue.

Available in both MG (5.7:1) and HG (6.2:1) gear ratios, the Ocea Jigger LD lets you tailor your retrieve speed to your style: the HG gets jigs back quickly for dynamic presentations, while the MG excels where winding power and strong drag matter most. Built on a rigid HAGANE Body that eliminates flex and maximizes power transfer, and shaped with an S-Compact Body for improved palm comfort and thumb control, this reel blends strength, balance, and precision for serious jigging anglers.
