The Versatile Workhorse for the Mobile Lure Angler.

If you are looking for one rod to do it all while on the move, the Shimano STC AX Spinning 2.70m (15-40g) is the definitive choice. At Gerrys Fishing, we find this specific model to be the sweet spot of the rangeoffering the perfect balance of length for casting distance and a casting weight that covers the most popular lures used today.

Whether you are targeting large Perch and Zander in freshwater or hunting Bass and Pollack along the coast, this rod delivers a performance that belies its 5-piece construction. Built using Full Carbon + Nanosheet technology, the blank is crisp, lightweight, and incredibly responsive. The fast action ensures you can feel every vibration of your lure and provides the necessary snap for accurate, long-distance casting.

With a remarkably short transport length of just 58cm, this rod is designed to follow you anywherefrom the boot of your car to the overhead bin of a plane.
