Shimano Talavera Type J Casting Rods

Built to perform from bottom fish to pelagics, the Shimano Talavera Type J Casting Rods are designed for faster tempo jigging throughout the water column. These rods load and unload quickly to match a more aggressive jigging style and create the ideal flick of the jig that this jigging style requires. High density EVA split grip handles provide for comfort when out on the water all day, and SeaGuide Zirconia guides provide for great performance when fighting fish or dropping down to the depths. Light to Medium-Heavy powers provide a wide range of opportunities, whether you are targeting black seabass, tautog and other reef fish inshore, or bringing them out to the offshore environment for pelagics.
