If you are using a quiver, these sleeves are brilliant because they allow you to keep your rods primedmeaning you can leave your rigs on and just fold the rod down. To make things even safer, we always recommend clipping a lead pouch to the outside of the reel area. This prevents the lead from banging against the carbon blank inside the sleeve during your walk to the swim!
