If youre looking for a bait that has truly stood the test of time across Europe and the UK, look no further than the award-winning Sonubaits Supercrush Krill. Krill is a legendary attractor in the world of carp and specimen fishing, and for good reasonit works.
At Sonubaits, we didnt just add a hint of flavor; we sourced top-quality ground krill and combined it with a specific blend of crushed pellets. This creates a groundbait that offers a massive punch of natural attraction while providing enough physical food to hold large shoals of fish in your swim for hours. Whether you are targeting double-figure carp in the margins or quality bream on a large reservoir, Supercrush Krill is a must-have in your bait bag.
Premium Ground Krill: Infused with high-grade, natural krill meal that provides a pungent, salty, and incredibly attractive scent trail.
Complex Pellet Blend: Utilizes a variety of crushed pellets to provide different particle sizes, ensuring there is always something for the fish to root for.
Award-Winning Heritage: A proven winner across commercial and natural venues, responsible for massive match weights and specimen catches.
The Margin King: While versatile, this mix excels in the margins where its heavy attraction and food content keep big fish pinned to the deck.
Full Range Synergy: Perfectly complements the wider Robin Red and Krill ranges, including hookbaits, liquids, and feed pellets.

Mixing Supercrush Krill is straightforward, but allowing it to work before you fish is the key to success:
Empty the full 2kg bag into a round mixing bucket.
Add Water: Fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water and pour it onto the groundbait.
Mix & Rest: Mix thoroughly by hand and allow it to rest for 30 minutes. During this time, the dry particles and crushed pellets will fully absorb the water.
The Pro Finish: For the best results, pass the rested groundbait through a riddle. This removes any lumps and creates a fluffy, even consistency that creates a perfect carpet of bait on the bottom.
Maintenance: On hot or windy days, cover your tub with a damp towel. If the mix starts to feel dusty, give it a quick spray with a water mister to reactivate the binding properties.
Commercial Margins: This is where Krill truly shines. Its heavy attraction pulls fish into the edge late in the day. Use it as a stiff mix to stay put or a slop to create a massive cloud.
Method Feeder: Because it contains crushed pellets, it binds beautifully to a Method feeder, offering a higher-attraction alternative to standard pellet-only approaches.
River Barbel Fishing: The salty, pungent krill aroma is a fantastic alternative for Barbel and Chub when the river is clear and the fish are being cautious.
Specimen Bream: On large natural waters, the high-protein nature of Krill can often pick out the larger slabs from a shoal.
At Gerrys, we call this the Stink Bombin the best way possible! If youre fishing the margins for big carp, try making a Krill Slop. Over-wet a small bowl of Supercrush Krill until its the consistency of porridge. When you cup it into the margins, it creates a massive, pungent orange cloud that hangs in the water. The carp go absolutely mental for it, and because the cloud is so thick, it gives them the confidence to feed right under your feet. Just be prepared for your hands to smell like krill for a weekits the smell of success!
Q: Is it suitable for use in the winter?
A: Yes! While krill is often associated with summer fishing, its low-oil profile means it works effectively even in cold water. However, we recommend using it in smaller quantities during the winter to avoid over-feeding.
Q: Can I mix it with other groundbaits?
A: Absolutely. A very popular pro mix is a 50/50 blend of Supercrush Krill and Thatchers Dark. This gives you the incredible attraction of krill but with a darker, more subtle color for clear-water venues.
Q: Will it stain my clothes?
A: Krill meal has a natural orange tint. While it wont permanently ruin most fabrics, its best to be careful when mixing, as the fine dust can be quite vibrant!
Q: Does it contain actual fishmeal?
A: Yes, it is a high-protein fishmeal-based groundbait, with the added benefit of high-quality ground krill.
