SportRack Roof Top Rod Rack

The SportRack Roof Ski, Snowboard and FIshing Rod Carrier is designed to quickly, easily and inexpensively provide large capacity ski and/or snowboard stowage space at the top of virtually any roof rack configuration that can accommodate its width. The carrier ships with four easy-to-use downward clamping elements that are arranged in groups of two. Carrying capacity of the carrier is eight pairs of skis or four snowboards.

The carrier’s swiveling mounting feet allow it to be attached to roof racks that have either crossbars or raised side rails with diameters of 3-1/4″ or less. This provides its near universal rack compatibility. Carrier elements are arranged laterally in groups of two. Each group is connected by an adjustable shaft that telescopes, extending the overall width of each group up to 56.” Once elements are aligned in position near the edges of the vehicle, they attach to racks with Allen wrench based universal mounting hardware. Carrier elements open with the push of the lock button, revealing two-sided non-scratching rubberized pads that hold skis and boards in place as the elements are closed. Each carrier clamping element has an integrated lock at its opening, which secures skis and snowboards to the carrier. Riser blocks are also included to better protect vehicle roofs from large bindings of skis and snowboards stowed in an inverted position.

• Clampdown mechanism of the two included carrier elements provide fast and easy stowage for skis and snowboards atop roof racks
• Capacity – 8 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards
• Shafts between clamping elements telescope, creating spans up to 56″ to fit wide vehicle roof racks
• Rubberized internal carrier surface keeps boards and skis in place without scratching them
• Integrated lock cylinders secure skis and boards to the carrier when you are away from the vehicle
• Swiveling mounting feet allow the carrier to be used on the crossbars or side rails of roof racks
• Compatible with virtually any factory or aftermarket rack configuration (max. crossbar diameter – 3.25″)
• Optional raiser blocks included to protect vehicle roofs from the large bindings of inverted skis and snowboards
