Weve all been theretrying to force a bankstick into sun-baked, mid-summer ground or a gravel-packed swim, only to end up with a bruised palm and a crooked setup. At Gerrys Fishing, we believe that precision shouldnt have to be painful. The Trakker ACS Pro Palm Saver is the simple, must-have tool that saves your hands and ensures your banksticks are perfectly vertical every single time.
Evolved from the legendary 20/20 range, the ACS Pro Palm Saver is manufactured from high-grade 6082 aluminium with a super-hard anodised finish. It features a broad, ergonomic top and the signature ACS Pro 22mm collar, allowing it to sit perfectly flush over your 16mm banksticks. By providing a wide surface area for your hand to push against, it allows you to exert maximum downward pressure safely and comfortably.
Ergonomic Design: The wide, flat top distributes pressure across your entire palm, eliminating the point-loading that causes bruising when pushing on raw bankstick threads.
Range Integration: Features the 22mm collar design to align perfectly with the ACS Pro and 20/20 bankware profiles.
Premium Build: Machined from 6082 aluminium, ensuring it wont crack or deform under heavy use like cheaper plastic alternatives.
Spirit Level Compatible: The flat top is the perfect surface to rest a small spirit level on, ensuring your sticks are perfectly straight for that carpy look.

Hard-Baked Summer Banks: Essential for getting your sticks into the ground during dry spells without hurting yourself or using a mallet.
Gravel-Lined Swims: Provides the extra leverage needed to push past stones and roots in reinforced or chipped swims.
Standard Soft Ground: Even in easy ground, using the palm saver ensures you push the stick straight down, preventing the wobble that can occur when pushing from the side.
Many anglers leave their palm saver in the bottom of a carryall. Instead, keep it in your pocket or the side pouch of your quiver while you are setting up. Once your bankstick is at the correct depth, rest a small bubble level on the flat top of the palm saver before you tighten everything down. Its the easiest way to ensure your 3-rod-spread looks laser-straight and professional.
Will this fit my older 20/20 banksticks?
Yes! The ACS Pro Palm Saver is fully compatible with the 16mm profile used in both the ACS Pro and the original 20/20 ranges.
Do I leave this on the bankstick while fishing?
No. The palm saver is a tool used during setup. Once the bankstick is in the ground, you remove the palm saver and replace it with your bite alarm, buzz bar, or rod rest.
Is it better than using a mallet?
Absolutely. Mallets can often damage the threads of your banksticks or cause the anodising to chip. The Palm Saver uses the strength of your own body weight to guide the stick in, which is much safer for the long-term health of your bankware.
