Westin Jerk 14cm 65g Fire

Westin Jerk 14cm 65g Fire

The Westin Jerk is a purpose-built glide bait designed to make jerkbait fishing effortless and highly effective. After years of refinement, this lure delivers a smooth, controlled side-to-side action that responds instantly to rod twitches, short pulls, or even subtle movements made directly on the reel.

Designed for fishing Irish lakes and rivers, the Westin Jerk excels when worked with gentle jerks followed by short or extended pauses. These pauses create an unpredictable, dying-action movement that often triggers aggressive strikes from pike holding at mid-depths or patrolling open water.

Key Features

• Sinking jerkbait with wide, controlled glide action
• Designed for effortless jerkbait fishing
• Lead-free ABS plastic body
• Full wire-through-body construction for strength
• Ultra-sharp carbon steel hooks
• Realistic eyes and hand-painted detailed colours
• Can be fished with rod jerks or worked directly on the reel

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Pike fishing in Ireland often requires lures that can be fished slowly and precisely, especially in cooler water or pressured venues. The sinking design and wide glide of the Westin Jerk allow anglers to control depth and speed easily, making it ideal for fishing over weed beds, along drop-offs, or across open water where pike hunt suspended prey.

Perfect For

• Pike fishing in Irish lakes and rivers
• Jerkbait fishing at controlled, slower speeds
• Targeting fish holding between 13 metres depth
• Fishing with pauses to trigger reaction strikes
